-Basic Questions Answered-

How Much should a person expect to pay in exchange for estate sale & liquidation services?

On Average, An estate sale company will do all the work in exchange for a percentage of the proceeds according to https://www.elderlawanswers.com

We collect a percentage of the gross proceeds ranging from 30%-50% based upon the the amount of work needing to be done taking into account all costs associated with hosting a successful estate sale.

*If dumpster rental is required, this will be an additional cost to the owner.

What if I don't want a sale or I'm not sure about needing a sale but I need help clearing/going through an area.

Do you help with that?

Yes

We have worked with many people not needing an estate sale.  We support you.

If you're only looking for help clearing, cleaning and organizing a space, we can help.

Is it worth having an estate sale?

Yes

YES, in most situations an estate sale is a great option. Everything has value, even those small mundane things we have laying around our home. These are all items we and our loved ones invested time & money in.

Why not try and get some of that money back?

That's why we highly encourage those around us to consider having an estate sale prior to making any large donations.

Often people are surprised with how much extra cash they can put in their pockets.

How do I know if I have enough stuff or good enough stuff to be sold?

Volume, Quality, condition, accessibility

It's not how nice something is or it being name brand. It's how usable something still is and how much life an item may still have in it.

If you have a lot of stuff you don't know what to do with and its

to much for a garage/yard sale then an estate sale MAY be the best option.

Some of what we look for include:

Volume/quantity (how much stuff)

Quality of overall stuff

Condition of items

Accessibility to clean, stage & sell.

If you're still not sure, that's what we're here.

Note:

We do not have a warehouse to transport to or use to host estate sales.

All estate liquidation sales must take place at the residence or business being liquidated. If sales are prohibited we are happy to work with you to go-through, clean-up and clean-out but would not be able to host a sale.
